TrimFacts exists because the towing number most people find online is the best case for a truck they do not own.
Search for a truck's towing capacity and you get a dealership blog quoting the brochure maximum. The truck in your driveway has a specific cab, bed, engine, axle ratio and package, and its rating is often thousands of pounds lower. The correct figure is in the manufacturer's towing guide, in a table most people never see.
We put that table on one page per model year, add payload, GVWR and GCWR so you can see which limit you actually hit first, and provide a calculator that runs your trailer against your configuration.
What TrimFacts is not
Not a dealer, not a lead-generation site, not a review site. We do not sell vehicles or rank them. We publish the manufacturer's ratings and show how to apply them.
